Makarim & Taira S. Discusses Customer Protection in Indonesia

On 1 October 2019, our partner Vincent Ariesta Lie was invited as the key speaker for 11th Legal For Non-Legal Program (LFNLP), an annual internal training held by PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia, for its non-legal employees.

In this opportunity, Vincent discussed the legal framework of Customer Protection in Indonesia as well as its recent developments and anticipated challenges. During the presentation, he was assisted by our associates, Towy Aryanosa, Hilda Leswara, and Putri Rachelia Azzura. The presentation led to fruitful discussions as the speakers and participants explored critical issues and challenges for the automotive business (especially manufacturers) that may be relevant to and impact the core business of TMMIN, especially in terms of customer protection, and what options they can consider to accommodate the changes moving forward.
