BAPEPAM-LK REGULATION ON GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING REGISTRATION STATEMENTS
May 01, 2012
On 30 December 2011, the Indonesian Capital Market and Financial Institutions Supervisory Agency (“Bapepam-LK”) issued Regulation No IX.A.1 (“Regulation”) which revoked the previous 1996 Regulation No. IX.A.1. The Regulation is intended to simplify the documents required for registration statement submissions.
The Registration Statement and its supporting documents now have to be submitted in 2 and not 4 hard copies; each of which was to be bound or held together as one unit or comprise separate parts. In addition, a soft copy version must now be submitted.
The Registration Statement must be in the Indonesian language. Any supporting documents in other languages, if deemed necessary and at Bapepam-LK’s request, may now be translated into Indonesian (certified by a sworn translator).
