Consumer protection point of view on the privacy and data protection of fintech peer-to-peer lending

The massive leakage of personal data in various cases of illegal fintech peer-to-peer lending in Indonesia indicates that regulations on privacy and data protection are urgently needed. However, currently there is no further development on this matter because the draft law on the Protection of Personal Data is still under discussion between the Government and the House of Representatives.
