On Saturday, 19 February 2022, our Partner, Rahayu Ningsih Hoed gave a Zoom webinar on “Land Mafia and Legal Protection for Landowners”. The event was organized by the Legal section of the Santa Perawan Maria Ratu Church, Jakarta, and was attended by more than 100 participants from various cities in Indonesia including a few from Australia and the USA.
The webinar discussed what land mafia are, who are involved and how they operate, which was followed by the legal actions which can be taken when dealing with them as well as how to avoid being exploited by land mafia.
